“Somebody Feed Phil” has been renewed for an eighth season at Netflix.
The Emmy-nominated food travel series, which is among the streamer’s longest-running unscripted shows, debuted its seventh season March 1, featuring the “Everybody Loves Raymond” creator eating his way around Mumbai, Washington, D.C., Kyoto, Iceland, Dubai, Orlando, Taipei and Scotland.
The first season of “Somebody Feed Phil” debuted in January 2018 as the followup to Rosenthal’s PBS food travel series, “I’ll Have What Phil’s Having.”
No release date has been set for the Season 8 “Somebody Feed Phil” episodes, but Netflix has announced that the show’s catchy theme tune from Lake Street Dive, aptly titled “Somebody Feed Phil,” will be available for streaming on all platforms Oct. 4.
