Jubilee Party beats ODM as most popular political party in new poll

- ODM Party has for the recent past been boasting of vast popularity in the East African region

- The Infotrak reports shows the Raila Odinga led party is loosing its grip to rival Jubilee party

- Jubilee was endorsed by 40% of respondents while ODM garnered support from 21% of interviewees

- It recently developed two major factions branded as Team Tanga Tanga and Team Kieleweke

A freshly released study has revealed that the ODM Party is fast loosing its vast popularity to rival Jubilee Party.

In the report released by Infotrak on Sunday, June 30, 40% of respondents said they felt closest to Jubilee Party while the Raila Odinga led outfit came in second with 21% .

Some 28% of those who were interviewed in the survey said they did not prefer any party while 4% did not want to disclose their political affiliations.

While releasing the findings, Infotrak CEO Angela Ambitho pointed out that Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Party scooped only 3% while Musalia Mudavadi's ANC Party was supported by 1% of respondents.

Just like Mudavadi's ANC, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula's FORD-Kenya Party recorded a 1% popularity score.

Out of those who responded to the interviews, 44% lashed out at the Opposition Party ODM claiming it was not performing is constitutional role of checking the ruling party.

However, 25% were emphatic the Opposition was working while 31% believed there was no opposition in Kenya.

Among regions that strongly believed the opposition was not working are Coast (56%), North Eastern (49%) and Nairobi (47%).

It was, however, evident that more Kenyans, from all eight regions, pointed fingers of blame to the opposition for not doing its work.
